Evaluate the oral environment with this comprehensive kit.
The first test measures the amount of bacteria in saliva by allowing enzymes in the bacteria to interact with an oxidizing dye. Students then compare the resulting color to the supplied color charts. The second activity monitors the mouth’s ability to rid itself of cavity-causing agents.
Includes: oxidizing dye, sodium hydroxide, glucose, Glucophan™ test strips, four color charts, 24 vials with caps, 24 student data sheets, mixing sticks and an instruction manual.
