Product Information

This is a great way to make your students AWARE of how harmful sun exposure and UV rays can be to their skin. With UV changing beads, plastic bags, and lotions with various SPF values, students will observe amazing results by exposing the beads to sunlight. Students also make and wear bracelets with the UV beads to determine if they are being exposed to harmful rays. Developed by Science Kit’s Product Development Team. Includes materials for eight student groups and instructions on health and sun exposure and how DNA is mutated with UV exposure and ozone depletion. Grades 4–9.
