Product Information
Since the 1940s, scientists have used antibiotics to combat disease-causing bacteria. This lab features two experiments that let students determine the resistance of bacteria to tetracycline, an antibiotic. Developed by Edward Alcamo. Grades 9-12. Includes: tetracycline, nutrient agar, petri dishes, swabs, forceps, grease pencils, paper discs, pipets and a teacher’s guide with background information.
