Each case is handsomely designed and features 2 lockable metal latches (with 2 keys), rounded edges, well-secured hard-plastic handle, heavy-duty hinges and skid-proof rubber feet. For ease of storage, cases are also stackable.

Inside, both door and body are lined to prevent scratching. Eight (8) thick velcro straps tightly secure the microscope. A compartmentalized pouch and web pouch attached to the inside of the door provide convenient storage space for slides, slide holders, cords, software, and other components and accessories. In the body 2 detachable zippered pouches and 1 attached pouch offer additional component storage space.
