The instrument enables you to choose any magnification from 10x to 40x and to change the magnification whenever you want. You never have to refocus. Use the three-way illumination system with an incident light that has controls for aim and intensity to obtain perfect illumination for any specimen. The solid body construction of these microscopes adds stability and prevents accidental falls of these heavy heads.
The 57897 comes with an adapter for 35mm still cameras and an adapter for video cameras with C or CS mount capabilities to allow still and video photography.
Includes a vinyl dust cover and our Boreal Microscope Teachers' Manual (55841-30 ). Used with the 57897-00 and 57897-50 models, the Konus CCD Microscope Camera will allow you to send images of the specimen being studied directly to a video monitor or computer screen.
