Product Information

Physics, Physical Science, Earth Science, and Oceanography students will measure terminal velocity, non-uniform acceleration, density and several hydraulic principles with this very unique, “attention grabbing” apparatus.
Simply turn the dial on the base and cause the graduated submersible to sink, to rise, or remain in motionless suspension in the 120 cm long, liquid filled guide.
An instruction booklet is included that gives background information and suggested procedures to help you conduct hands-on experiments that measure density, non-uniform acceleration, terminal velocity, and for the oceanography teacher, fluid pressure related to depth, and crush depth. Developed by Walter Fuller. Grades 9-12.
