The Medieval Game of Strategy and Skill
Imagine yourself living during Medieval Times, also known as the Middle Ages, in a town similar to the many that cropped up throughout Western Europe. The Cathedral, a place of sanctuary and worship, was the focal point of the city and located in the center to town.
In the game of Cathedral, you are a landowner and the playing board represents the site of the walled city. Each player must place their architectural shaped pieces within the boundaries, obstructing and controlling as much of the city as they can. Victory goes to the player who is best at blocking and out-maneuvering their opponent. Strategy and a keen eye win this one!
Cathedral Deluxe consists of two sets of beautifully crafted playing pieces made of native hardwood. There are 28 buildings, 1 cathedral, and 1 playing board (approximately 15" x 15"). The game makes an attractive conversation piece before you begin your very own strategic plan to conquer the city! Great for home or office. For 2 players.
