Product Information

Dissolved carbon dioxide is present naturally as a result of animal respiration, the decay of organic matter, and decomposition. It is a major source of acidity in unpolluted water samples.
Using the titrimetric method, this test kit employs a caustic titrant and phenolphthalein indicator. The kit also contains a neutralizer solution to correct for sulfide interference. Approx. analysis time two minutes. Range 100–1000 ppm.
