Product Information

How do you teach students about the relationship between a three-dimensional contour model and a two-dimensional topographic map? You can start with these Contour Map Stencils. The Teacher’s Set includes four height contour stencils, one landscape form and six transparencies of a corresponding topographic map. The Class Set includes one landscape model and two corresponding topographical maps for up to 15 students. Students place these stencils directly onto the landscape model to create their own three-dimensional contour models. The reusable stencils and landscape models are made of durable molded plastic.
