Product Information

Use this electroscope to detect electrostatic charges in a variety of objects.
Physics teacher Ralph Fudge designed this device to give an instant visual indication of electrostatic charges in any object. Press the switch to turn the battery-operated unit on, bring a charged object near the metal plate on one end of the device and a green LED will light. The level of brightness determines the intensity of the charge. Operates on one 9V battery (included). Grades 7–12.
