Product Information

The thermal conductivity of aluminum, brass, nickel, stainless steel, and copper are demonstrated with this apparatus.
A rod of each of the metals is equally spaced radially on a brass hub. Each of the rods has a cavity at the outer end for holding paraffin.
Using the wooden handle, hold the brass hub over a flame. The wax will melt at different times demonstrating the relative thermal conductivity of each metal. Includes instructions.
