This Hero’s Engine demonstrates the earliest form of steam engine described by Hero of Alexandria about A.D. 100.A 125 mL flask with two side nozzles bent at 90° angles, containing a small amount of water, is suspended by a chain over a flame. The steam produced is ejected from the nozzles causing the flask to rotate. Complete with chain and rubber stopper.
