Low Voltage Conductivity Indicator (Teacher-Developed, Classroom-Tested)
|
Product Information
This low-voltage indicator has a bulb large enough to safely test the conductivity of liquids and the strength of electrolytes. Using an AC adapter, the voltage is stepped down from 110 V AC to 12 V DC to prevent accidental shocks. The indicator uses two alligator clips; a 12 V, 15 W light bulb; and comes with 2 electrodes; instruction sheet; list of activities; and suggestions for follow-up activities. Developed by Lynn Hesse. Grades 7-11.
