This field microscope was developed to introduce children to the microscopic worlds that exist outside the classroom - the deserts of their playground and the jungles of their backyards.
Uses LED illumination for optimum image clarity and features a 20-100X manual zoom lens that can be detached and used stand-alone. Field of view is 4.5mm, working distance is 22mm-42mm and focusing range is 30mm. The included Quick Start Guide gets children working with the microscope with a minimum of set-up time while the activity guide with 15 experiments keeps them engaged and learning.
Powered by 3 "AA" batteries and measures 128mm x 112mm x 176mm. Includes: LED Field Microscope, eyepiece, slide stage, biological stage, calibration slide, quick start guide, experiment manual with 15 activities.
