Laws of Motion consists of three mechanics simulations that allow students to discover and master the key concepts of velocity, acceleration, force, momentum, and friction.
These simulations display motion in two different “force worlds” - a Newtonian world where force is linked with change in motion, and an Aristotelian world where force is linked only to motion.
Results are displayed in data tables, graphs and “snapshots” of the leading edge of the block at equal time intervals along its path. Results can also be displayed in slow motion. Sharpens graph and data interpretation skills. Grades 10+.
Includes study guide with activities.
