An ideal reading aid, designed to encourage even the most reluctant readers to participate in the creation and reading of their own amusing sentences. Children should be encouraged to read, write or print out on a computer, and then illustrate any of the four hundred sentences that can be formed.
Each of the twenty "Beginning Sentence" dominoes has an "Ending Sentence" domino. Students need to match them correctly. Or, select a "Beginning Sentence" domino and have the students create their own ending! Then have each child read his or her sentence out aloud. Making Funny Stories is fun for the students and will encourage them to remember, read it, writie it, and illustrate it!
