This portable Geiger counter weighs less than a 0.5 kg with batteries, yet provides sensitive detection of alpha, beta, gamma, and X radiations.
Digital circuitry provides a clear two-digit LED display. Switch settings permit the option of radiation counts over 7.5 seconds or one full minute intervals.
It features a halogen-quenched stainless Geiger tube and provides ±15 percent accuracy over a 0-7 mR/Hr range. The unit measures 18 cm x 10 cm x 4.5 cm, and operates on a 120V, AC adapter (supplied) or four AA cells.
