Product Information

Transfrom your students from mere observers of nature to active participants with this hands-on kit. Watch as lowly caterpillars form chrysalides then become colorful butterflies. Enhance life cycle or metamorphosis lessons with living examples. Development can take between 14 and 21 days. Kit includes: 30 live larvae, 30 vials with lids, 8oz. of nutrient, plastic cage, camel hair brush, plastic spoon and instruction sheet.
You can also purchase replacement sets including either 30 live larvae, 30 vials with lids, nutrient, brush, spoon and instructions or a set with five live larvae, fivve vials with lids, nutrient, brush, spoon and instructions. Note: Some states require USDA permit.
