We've concentrated our solutions so your students get dramatic results in just minutes, and with less reagent waste. Students perform glucose tests and observe changes in the color and appearance of a starch and glucose-filled dialysis tube placed in a solution of water and iodine potassium iodide.
Includes: glucose solution (15%), starch solution (1%), iodine potassium iodide (IKI), glucose testing strips, cups, graduated pipets, dialysis tubing and complete instructions featuring a teacher's guide with answers, and reproducible student guides with background information, step-by-step procedures and hand-in worksheets.
(Please note: Graduated cylinders, goggles, aprons and gloves are required but not included.)
