Product Information

Iron is found in nature in forms of oxides, and in minerals where it is combined with silicon or sulfur.
Using the colorimetric method for determining total iron, this kit uses thioglycolic acid to dissolve particles of iron and to reduce iron from the ferric or ferrous state.
Approx. analysis time five minutes. Range 0–2.5 ppm.
