Product Information

Many excellent experiments and demonstrations involving the focusing of radiant light, heat, and sound are possible using these highly polished parabolic reflectors. For example, the heat from an iron ball can be reflected and focused several feet to ignite a piece of white phosphorous. The reflectors are 30 cm in diameter and are complete with rods and a support for easy angle and height adjustments. The iron ball and phosphorous are not included, but a steel ball and wax may also be used instead of the iron and phosphorus.
