Product Information

Students will have fun and at the same time gain a valuable learning experience by actually testing commercial shampoo in the classroom.
The kit can be used in determining pH content, solid content, flash form formation, foam retention time, relative viscosity, India ink dispersion, and cost per 5 mL of shampoo. Materials are provided for a laboratory of 24 students; each experiment can be repeated five times.
Includes: Universal indicator, six empty bottles for shampoo, 1 oz. empty bottle, BB’s, evaporating dishes, five vials of commercial shampoo, India ink, pH test paper, student data sheets and an instruction manual with suggestions for lab situations with special needs students. Also includes assessment manuals and scoring sheets.
