Product Information

A membrane is tightly secured over one end of a thistle tube (which was filled with a sucrose solution after the other end was sealed with a stopper). The membrane covered end is immersed in the jar containing water and clamped into position. The stopper is removed and the liquid rises in the tube as osmosis proceeds.

Set includes:
• double thistle tube (42 cm) now in plastic so its safer and easier to work with
• rubber stopper, clamp, battery jar
• membrane and rubber bands
• complete instructions for 8 demonstrations
