Product Information

Demonstrate the conservation of energy and conservation of momentum with this hands-on apparatus. When your students roll one of the balls down the ramp, the ball will hit the target block and make it fall down. However, when they roll the other ball down the ramp, the block merely wobbles, and does not fall. The difference is in the types of collisions, both inelastic and elastic, that are occurring.

Includes launching ramp, target block, two balls (one for inelastic and one for elastic collisions), and an instruction manual.
