Product Information
Students will test the Law of Refraction of Light discovered by Willebrod Snell in 1621.This apparatus directs students to collect and correlate data for a simulated photon. A steel ball traces a path from one medium, through an angled interface, into another medium. From the data, calculations of angle of refraction can be made. This unit features a specially molded plastic platform, a launching ramp, and a large steel ball. The platform is molded from very tough plastic and measures 30.5 x 35.5 x 4.5 cm high. Instructions included.
