After viewing this video students will know what a graph is, recognize the three most commonly used graphs in science - bar, line, and pie - and understand the 5-step process of making and using graphs in connection with scientific experiments.
Real numerical data derived from real experiments is used to create a bar graph of the explosive growth of the human population from 0 AD to the year 2000. Boyle’s Law illustrates the use of the line graph.
