Product Information

This device will drive one end of one or more taut strings at a steady 60 Hz, allowing the formation and investigation of standing waves. The novelty offered by this 60 Hz vibrator is that several hanks of fine line can be attached at the same time so that students can see how the standing waves formed are controlled by the length and tension in the line. Five hanks of braided line are included for good qualitative and quantitative data.
