Product Information
SuperCroc - it didn't walk with dinosaurs - it ate them. Its scientific name is Sarcosuchus imperator but just about everybody except the most nerdy paleontologists call it "SuperCroc". Produced by National Geographic, this program lets viewers share in the thrill of discovery as the fossilized remains of a 10-ton, 40-foot prehistoric crocodile are unearthed in the Sahara. They will then travel back in time to see how SuperCroc might have lived and battled for food 110 million years ago and hear speculation that SuperCroc may have preyed upon dinosaurs wandereing along the shoreline of its habitat. SuperCroc includes interviews with paleontologist Paul Sereno and reptile expert Brady Barr who have traveled the world to learn more about these giant creatures. 60 minutes.
