Claire Zurbuch has done it again. He has created a device that visually records the sound waves of three tuning forks of varying lengths. Simply place the specially machined tuning fork into the wavemaker, tap the fork with the included hammer, let it go and the attached pen records the associated soundwave on adding machine tape. Roll the tape forward and select another fork. Measure and compare the wavelengths of each fork! The device comes with a video, instructions and worksheets.
