The front panel features easy-to-use controls that allow users to dial-in adjustments. A microprocessor control precisely regulates speed and provides consistent stirring at all speeds. Additionally, a ramping feature slowly increases speed to avoid splashing, improve magnetic coupling, and provide excellent low-end control.
The Hot Plate Stirrer features a powerful continuous duty motor that delivers dependable stirring with an electronic stir brake that quickly stops spin bar when stir function is turned off.
A hot-surface alert ("CAUTION HOT TOP") illuminates when the temperature rises above 40°C (104°F). This alert remains on until the unit cools, even when the heater is turned off. For your convenience, spill-resistant housing channels fluids away from the internal components, and the rear of the unit features a built-in support rod holder with locking knob.
With a low-profile design, this hot plate/stirrer conserves space and fits easily into most fume hoods. Its ceramic top is an easy-to-clean, chemical-resistant, reflective white surface. UL and C-UL listed. CE marked. Speed Range: 60-1600 rpm. Speed Stability:±2%.
