Hydraulic Press

Consists of two interconnected cylinders of different diameters based upon two graduated glass syringes of 10mL and 50mL, with cross-sectional area of 3 to 1.

For demonstrating the transmissibility of fluid pressure and to show how mechanical advantage may be obtained using interconnected cylinders of different diameters. Based upon graduated glass syringes having capacities of 10mL and 50mL and a cross-sectional area of 3 to 1. Pistons are provided with loading platform of 90mm diameter. Graduated syringe barrels also permit simple Boyle’s law experiments to be carried out.
