There are four bar combinations: Brass/Aluminum, Brass/Iron, Copper/Iron, and Brass/ Copper. Since each metal has a different coefficient of thermal expansion, they will create a unique curve when paired with a different metal.

Metal bars are stamped with the identification of each metal, Aluminum (Al), Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu). The Brass bar is not stamped.
