An excellent source of study of the refraction of liquids and the behavior of transverse waves is now provided conveniently in one tank. The included wooden block lets you generate standing waves and transverse waves without the mess. You can also place materials of your choice into the tank to demonstrate the refraction and internal reflection of these materials and how they vary from one another. Required but not included are the laser pointer and food coloring to discolor the water.
