Students can perform accurate experiments on acceleration, Newton’s laws, and friction. The cart included with this inclined plane rides on bearing wheels down a groove in the track, so it will never fall off the track. Numbered increments along the side allow students to take measurements during experiments or with the photogate system, which clamps easily to the side for greater accuracy.

Using the pre-mounted pulley on the plane’s end with a mass and string, students can create a modified Atwood machine. The attached protractor also allows for easy angle measurements.

Accessories information: The FUN stand is required, but available separately. The fundamentals of physics photogate system is recommended.
