Handy spectroscope for viewing the visible spectra of light sources. Wavelength dispersion is accomplished by a fixed prism rather than a diffraction grating, so the spectrum may be viewed directly rather than at an oblique angle. With an adjustable collar, the metal tube may be drawn out to focus. An adjustable light slit is fitted with achromatic objective glass and 3 element prisms. Comes complete in a wooden case for safe storage.
