This activity uses chemistry to demonstrate how polymers form by combining two solutions. Students will try different amounts to create slime in a mess-proof way. The kit contains enough materials for 30 demonstrations. The activity requires 40 minutes.
Ordering information: This kit includes Polyvinyl alcohol, sodium borate solution, plastic bags, and instructions. Not included is food coloring and graduated cylinders.
