This unique model separates into 15 pieces, allowing you to view various parts of the brain either separately or collectively. Removable parts include a transparent left cortex with the sinus sagittalis connected to part of the base of the skull, the cervical vertebral column with spinal cord and vertebral artery, transparent right cortex, right half of the sphenoid bone, two-piece brain stem, right and left insular cortex, left striate body, right capsular interna, corpus callosum, fornix, limbic system and ventricle system, and the right and left halves of the cerebellum.
