Ideal for Teaching the Value of Fresh Water
After completing this lab, students will learn about the importance of protecting and conserving a valuable resource: fresh water. They will gain an understanding of the difference between point source and non-point source pollution and the role of nitrates and phosphates in the process of eutrophication. The lab also helps students learn about the variety of factors, including natural ones, that contribute to the overall problem of water pollution.
