Construction: The ABS plastic compression unit ensures a strong yet lightweight build. A top handle applies uniform pressure, and the auto-disengagement mechanism activates at preset compression for repeatable results. A stable molded base ensures reliable operation.

Working Principle: The device measures changes in electrical resistance of grains, which vary with moisture content. The microcontroller uses pre-programmed calibration tables to convert resistance into accurate moisture values. Automatic temperature compensation (PT-100 sensor) and ambient humidity display enhance precision.

Operation: Fill the provided 13 cc volume cup with grain. Place the sample into the chamber and compress until auto-disengagement. Press the read switch: moisture percentage appears on the LCD. Ambient humidity is shown alongside, thanks to the inbuilt humidity sensor. Data can be transferred wirelessly via Bluetooth for record-keeping and sharing.
