Construction: The compression unit is built from durable ABS plastic for strength and lightweight performance. A molded base stabilizes the compression chamber, while the top handle ensures even pressure. Once the preset pressure is achieved, the auto-disengagement feature activates, preventing over-compression and maintaining repeatable accuracy.

Working Principle: This model measures grain moisture using the electrical resistance method. Since the resistance of grains varies with their moisture content, the microcontroller maps these variations to precise moisture values using programmed calibration tables. Automatic temperature compensation with a PT-100 sensor ensures reliable performance in varying environments.

Operation: Fill the 13 cc sample cup with grain and pour into the chamber. Compress using the handle until auto-disengagement occurs. Press the read switch to display moisture percentage instantly. Ambient conditions are automatically considered via temperature compensation. Use RS-232 to print or transfer readings, or rely on internal memory to store up to 200 readings for later retrieval.
