Flask Form Electroscope

Simple and Inexpensive

Use this compact apparatus contained in a 250 mL Pyrex flask. A nickel-plated rod with two aluminum leaves on one end fits into a rubber stopper in the neck of the flask. Charge the rod, and the leaves move apart.
