Magnetizing and Demagnetizing Coil

A 25cm long coil allows magnets up to 4.5cm in diameter to be either remagnetized or demagnetized. The apparatus has 960 turns and the wire has a diameter of 1.22 mm. This coil serves as a useful way to demonstrate how a magnet can be made or destroyed. Two banana plug jacks allow for an AC/DC power supply to be attached, and an on/off switch is clearly visible.
