Demonstrate how Western Blot procedure is applied in the real world to aide in the detection and characterization of specific marker proteins, in clinical testing and research laboratories. Students will carry out Western Blot procedure, screening simulated test samples from a population of infected individuals, and group them according to the precise nature of their disease. Materials are supplied for six student groups for up to five students each.
