Strips of psoas muscle are available in a tube of 50% glycerol for study of ATP induced contractions and muscle striation. Each strip provides enough material for four to eight students. The solution must be stored at -4 °C until you are ready to use it.

Full Kits allow students to perform several demonstrations, including identification of muscle microanatomy, stimulation of muscle contraction with ATP solution, and correlation of chemicals to the degree of muscle contraction.

Ordering information: These products contain living or perishable materials. Full Kit contains enough materials (muscle and chemical) for 24 setups and a user's guide. Muscle Refill contains one strip of psoas muscle per tube of 50% glycerol for study of ATP induced contractions and muscle striation. Each strip provides enough material for four to eight students. The solution must be stored at -4°C until you are ready to use it. Chemical Refill contains sufficient chemicals to produce contraction in muscle, including ATP, salt solutions, and chemical instructions. Refrigerate until ready to use.
