Normal flora of respiratory tract. Beta-lactamase positive. Also known by the name Branhamella catarrhalis

Normal flora of respiratory tract. Beta-lactamase positive. Nonmotile. Cocci in pairs. Gram negative reaction; tendency to resist decoloration. Aerobic. Incubation temperature 37°C. Blood agar growth medium.
