VWR® Disposable Polypropylene Spatulas provide a practical solution for transferring powders, granules, and other solid materials in laboratory environments. The polypropylene construction offers resistance to many acids, bases and aqueous solutions, while the double-ended design gives users more control when collecting and releasing samples.

The single-use format helps prevent cross-contamination and eliminates cleaning steps between samples, improving workflow efficiency in research, quality control, and regulated environments. Lightweight yet structurally stable, these spatulas offer sufficient rigidity for precise transfer while maintaining slight flexibility for controlled handling.

Size ranges include:
Standard (double-ended spoon/scraper and scoop) fits 1.5 ml and 15 ml tubes
Macro (double-ended spoon/pick) fits 50 ml tubes
Short Eco (double-ended spoon/scraper and scoop) fits 1.5 ml and 15 ml tubes and uses 34% less plastic
EtO sterile and sterile nontoxic/non pyrogenic also available

Certifications: Manufactured In compliance with US and EU food contact standards. The sterile spatulas are ETO sterilized to an SAL of 10⁻⁶. Spatula 89097-816 is certified sterile, while Spatula 10816-246 is certified sterile, non-toxic, and non-pyrogenic. For research only, not a medical product.

Packaging: Nonsterile spatulas are packed in a folded closed poly bag in a paperboard carton. The sterile spatulas are packed 10 per sterile pouch, 10 pouches per pack.
