The Optical Voice Link Kit is the ideal introduction for those students first learning about the marvels, mysteries and science of light transmission through optical fiber.
Students will be fascinated by hearing their own voices, after it has been converted into light and then coupled into, through and out of an optical fiber. This kit is suitable for science projects, home projects, short audio fiber optic curriculums for schools, and inexpensive classroom demonstrations.
No prior fiber optics experience, special tools or training are needed for students to be able to build, use and enjoy the multiple applications of this kit.

The Stirling engine currently is being re-examined as a practical source of power because of its adaptability to almost any fuel. First produced in the 1800’s as a non-electric fan and an automatic hot air water pump, the engine soon became obsolete due to its lack of sufficient power when compared to the newly developed combustion engine. Any fuel can be used with our model, but denatured alcohol is suggested for clean operation.
