Is Your Classroom Safe? Ask Yourself:

1.    Do you have a current Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP)?
2.    Is a Chemical Hygiene Officer (CHO) designated at the district or building level?
3.    Are annual safety inspections conducted in labs, CTE rooms, and other high-risk areas?
4.    Are student safety acknowledgment forms used consistently across the district?
5.    Is approved PPE, like goggles, gloves, and lab coats, available for all relevant activities?
6.    Have all educators completed annual safety training with documentation on file?
