Polypropylene and polycarbonate vacuum desiccator with flat dome, with PTFE plug and stopcock, silicone rubber O-ring on the flange.

• Holds a full vacuum (740 mm Hg 15 cm) at room temperature for 24 hours - will remain airtight even if not under vacuum
• Clear PC lid on a chemical-resistant white PE base
• Internal groove on the flange holds a silicone rubber O-ring
• Fitted with a polypropylene stopcock with a self-lubricating PTFE plug for 3-way action: vacuum creation, shut off, and releasing
• 'Flat dome' features clear polycarbonate top with large ribbed knob which maximizes interior clearance

Used for preserving moisture-sensitive items such as chemicals which are hygroscopic or which react with water from humidity. Fitted with a polypropylene stopcock with a self-lubricating PTFE plug which allows a controlled entrance of air preventing unnecessary turbulence. Autoclavable.
