Designed for fluid mechanics and aerodynamics explorations.
- Smoke can be used to aid in visualization
- Lightweight construction makes transportation easy
- Includes instructions
This fully operational wind tunnel allows students to conduct a variety of experiments, including the construction of a wing. Lift calculations can then be made to test how efficient their wing is, and a smoke stream can also be used to visually analyze the efficiency of their creation. The device uses a fan you provide for creating the wind stream. The Wright brother’s design is constructed of cardboard for easy, lightweight transport. Includes instructions.
